METHOD
Built by Hand, Held by Standard
Shaped In-House
Every piece begins in our Islamabad workshop. We do not outsource builds or finishing. Each form is shaped, joined, and resolved under one roof—guided by a studio process that balances accuracy and attention. Materials arrive raw and are milled, cut, and aligned by hand. Every dimension, every joint, every edge is done in sequence—measured, not rushed.
Tools & Templates
We use a combination of hand tools and workshop machines: spindle moulders, jigs, routers, and planers. Proportions are guided by hardwood templates. Jigs ensure consistency in hole placement, spacing, and edge routing. Where appropriate, we use calibrated guides for repeat cuts—but no component is left unchecked or unfit. Alignment is always confirmed manually.
Joinery & Structure
Our joinery varies by piece type. Chairs and benches use mortise and tenon construction for joint strength. Beds are built with pegged rails and reinforced corners. Casework and tables are framed with internal blocks or blind dowels to carry load without visible hardware. No shortcuts. Every joint is built to hold weight and endure movement.
Detailing & Surface Prep
Once a form is built, edges are eased by hand—never overly rounded. Grain direction is matched across visible planes. Inlays are set flush. Panels are checked under natural light for surface balance. Each component is dry-fit before assembly to ensure clarity of line and uniformity of scale.
Upholstery Integration
Upholstery is never applied as an afterthought. It is framed into the build—supported by hardwood, reinforced from within, and finished at the same level as the surrounding structure. Whether canvas, leather, or velvet, fabric is applied with proportional logic and use in mind.
Final Assembly & Inspection
Before each piece is registered, it passes through a final check for proportion, weight, and surface condition. Components are leveled, fasteners are set, glides are fitted. This isn’t cosmetic—it’s structural. A finished piece should stand still, wear evenly, and feel held together with intention.
Hand-Finished, Every Time
We use precision tools, but we finish by hand. Final sanding, oiling, touch-ups, and edge blending are done at the bench. We don’t chase craft as a style—we follow it as a standard. What leaves the workshop carries more than just material—it carries proof of discipline.
Studio-Built, Not Assembled
This is not kit production. Nothing is flat-packed. Every form is built as a whole—joined, cured, and resolved in studio. It arrives as a piece, not a product.
